October's Issa Vibe: "Know Thy Self"

As the fall rolls in and the leaves on the trees begin to trickle down, we take this time to reflect and set intentions. Issa vibe will serve as your opportunity for self improvement and growth. The first step to self-improvement is to “Know Thyself”. The more you know about yourself, the better you are at adapting life changes that suit your needs. So where do you begin? Self-awareness doesn’t happen overnight and it certainly isn’t something that is easy to master. It takes time, it takes patience.

Creating Self-Awareness:

  1. Define Your Core Values: What are 5 of the most important things about you? What drives you?  

  2. Keep a Journal: Dare to Tell yourself the truth and edit disturbances around you

  3. Engage in Self-Reflection: Take time to reflect on the lessons you’ve learned in the week

  4. Write Your Own Manifesto: Write down all your wishes, dreams, intentions, and desires, be as specific as you can

  5. Give yourself permission to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or inspires you
